Q: What movie best describes your life?

A: There is a movie called "Facing the Giants," it's one of my favorites. I chose this
movie because, at this time in my life, I feel like I am always facing something
huge, new, and unknown that I never thought I would. While these life events
are mostly good, they are intimidating, but I know I must face them to grow and progress to the next level. It's exciting and nerve-racking at the same time.

Q: What quirks do you have?

A: I can relate a song to any situation. Especially in social situations. If somebody
says something that triggers a song, I will start singing it. Also, When my sister and I are shopping and a good song comes on, we put on a show in the store. We dance and sing and don't care who's around. But, it's hard for to just sing on the spot for someone. Crazy, I know!

Q: What shows are you into?

A: Right now, my favorite show on TV is "9-1-1". It keeps me on the edge of my seat and it has a great story line! I also like the show "Passage". It's kind of a sci-fi thriller. Don't forget about "Stranger Things" on Netflix too!

HUMBERTO LOPEZ joined the Front End team as a Software Engineer and has been a great addition to the team.

As a front end engineer, Humberto is focused on enhancing our customer-facing web application, expanding our texting solutions, improving our mobile application, and integrating an automated testing solution. He values product design and knows how to deliver a great user experience.

Q: What could you give a 40-minute presentation on with absolutely no preparation?

A: 3D Printing. I got a 3D Printer about 4 years ago and it’s been my favorite hobby since then. I’ve probably taken it apart and put it back together at least 100 times by now. I know all the ins and outs. I could go from a high level discussion to a detailed technical explanation at a moment’s notice.

Q: What are some small things that make your day better?

A: Meeting a new dog never fails to improve my day. No matter where I am, or what kind of mood I’m in, I instantly feel better when a dog walks up to me and requests pets. On the beach, at the peak of a mountain, on an island, at a gas station… these are all places where dogs have approached me and instantly made me smile.

Q: What game or movie universe would you most like to live in?

A: The Pokemon universe. There are so many amazing creatures to meet and study. How awesome would be to have your Pikachu charge your phone? Or how about flying on the back of a Charizard or riding on the back of an Arcanine? It’s not just about the Pokemon either. In that world, you can just travel whenever you want, to wherever you want. The possibilities for adventure are absolutely endless.
