Using voice and text surveys can also improve engagement and participation rates. These methods allow for personalized, one-on-one interaction with each contact, making them more likely to participate and respond in a timely manner.
Here are some good use cases:
Collect RSVPs for events and meetings
Find volunteers for services opportunities

Best practices for sending a survey by text
Keep your message short
Your text survey should be short and to the point. If the text message survey is too long, there's a more significant possibility that your contact will skim the message and miss the fact that they should respond to your message with an answer.
Provide clear instructions
When you send surveys, be sure to include clear instructions on how to complete the survey and how the responses will be used. Clear instructions lead to more accurate data and increased response rates and make the process more enjoyable for your users.
Follow up with respondents
If a contact responds to your survey, following up with them after their response will increase the likelihood that they will respond next time. They might think their answer does not matter if they do not receive a response. You can create survey auto-replies in your Text-Em-All account to help you streamline this process.
Questions about sending mass surveys
-
How do I send a text survey?
It's easy to send SMS surveys through an SMS survey software such as Text-Em-All. During broadcast creation, choose to send your broadcast as a survey. Then, when you go to type your message, ask your contacts a yes or no question, and ask them to respond with either answer. We will automatically collect data from the responses from your SMS surveys into easy-to-understand graphs.
-
How do I send a voice survey?
To send a voice survey, select "Survey" when choosing your broadcast type. Then, you'll record or choose two voice messages - your live answer message and the voicemail message. In the live answer message, you must tell respondents to press (STAR)1, (STAR)2, etc. However, the voicemail message should be a more general announcement, as contacts cannot respond to the survey via voicemail.

What are some common mistakes to avoid when sending surveys via mass messaging?
Here are three common mistakes to avoid when sending surveys via mass messaging:
1. Not providing clear instructions: Be sure to provide clear and concise instructions to respondents on completing the survey. This can include instructions on how to submit the survey and what kind of answers are expected and any relevant deadlines.
2. Using biased or leading questions: Avoid using questions that lead respondents to answer a certain way. This can result in skewed data and inaccurate insights. When collecting customer feedback, do not offer incentives, as this can cause unintentional bias.
3. Sending too many surveys: Bombarding respondents with too many text message surveys can cause fatigue and decrease response rates. Finding the right balance between survey frequency and response rates is important.

Can I track responses to my surveys?
